a day that people here in Barrow have looked forward to for a long time. THE SUN CAME BACK!!! After about two months with the sun refusing to show its face above the horizon it finally rose on Friday. I lucked out and didn't have a class during the time it was up. So, another teacher and I took a walk to enjoy the sight. It's amazing how quickly it comes back. Today we had two hours of daylight. It's amazing how much difference a little bit of sunlight can make. I have to admit that it would have been a little nicer if I didn't have to spend five minutes dressing in all my outdoor clothes to do it. Even so, it was great to spend some time out in the light.

Does this mean you have a 'sunset' the whole two hours? Cause it kinda goes around not over you right?
